A New Suit for Santa?

We received a letter from Elvin the Elf and Mrs. Clause the other day asking us to help design a new suit for Santa.  Here are the designs we came up with.  I am putting the letters and designs in the mail tomorrow for some of the students.  I wonder if Santa will use any of our designs!!

Christmas Eve: 12/18/13

We had Math.  In Math we are adding three numbers.  In recess I joined Ashlyn's club.  It was fun.  In P.E. we played soccer.  It was a tie, 4 to 4.  For lunch time we had sloppy joe's and tater tots.  We wrote Jeremiah's letters.  We have to say nice things about him.

Don't forget we get out at 2:35 on December 20, 2013.

I am proud of me today because I finished my work.

Best Day Ever!

We did Calendar and Katie is Calendar Helper.  Now we are doing show and tell and people have to share their toys.  Then we did Math.  In Math we are doing adding three numbers.  The problem was like 12 + 13 + 15.  It was a little hard.

Christmas is December 25.

I am proud of me today because I did my Santa suit.

First Day of Last Week - 12-16-13

We had Talking Time.  In Talking Time Jaxton said he can't wait to get home and play video games.  Airam shared that she cleaned her room.  Katie shared that she is excited.  Jack S. shared that on Saturday he go to go to the Musketeer hockey game in Sioux City.  Isaac said he went to his uncle's wedding.  We had Guidance. In Guidance we watched "Stop Bullying Now!"  Every time an episode is over we say what type of bullying was in it.  We went to the Gardner Public Library.  We read Rudolph Shines Again and The Christmas Contest.  We had to ride a bus to get there.

We do not have Word Study this week.

I am proud of my reading group today because we are making an iMovie.

Christmas Break 12-13-13

We did Gannon's school party and Gannon had chocolate cupcakes.  We went to the Care Center on the 13th of December. It was a great day.

We have Christmas break on the 20th through the 5th of January.

We had a great day with Mrs. Scott.

Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow!

We had Calendar.  Today is the 11th day of December.  Today is the 80th day of school.  Jack P. was going to bring a toy.  Isaac said he went to his cousin's house.  But he didn't play the iPod.  Jordan brought Monster High dolls.  Jordan really likes them a lot.  Michaela brought a book.  Caleb went to Jeremiah's. We had P.E.  In P.E. I beat Jeremiah by 1 second.  It was my first time ever getting 1st place!  We had lunch.  In lunch we had beef and noodles with corn with bread and an apple.

My birthday is on the 13th of December.  Katie's half-birthday is on the 12th of December this week.

I am proud of our class today because we work hard in our classroom.

A Day at School

We did P.E.  In P.E. we played scooters.  When we played scooters in P.E. we took turns.  We had P.E. in the big gym.  We had teams in the scooter games.  Mr. Wendte called 6 people in the groups.

We had a 2 hour late start today.

I am proud of us today because we all worked hard.

A Day at School - 12-6-13

Today we practiced our play for Tuesday.  In Critical Thinking we are making catapults.  In Music we played a game.  We made ornaments out of paper rolls.

There is a concert on Tuesday, December 10.

We had Calendar.  Gannon is calendar helper today.  We had show and tell.  Caleb brought a toy car that can turn into a ball.  Jackson brought a wood car he colored.  Jordan shared about her basketball managing job.  Michaela brought her mermaids.

Christmas break starts on the 20th.

A Day at School - December 3

We had silent ten during Writing.  Almost everyone did a sticker story.  Everyone was having fun.  I was very happy to be the blogger.

Jaxton is calendar helper.  He is writing neatly.  It is time for Talking Time.  Jack P. shared that he got a new game.  Isaac shared next. He shared that he jumped on a hay bale.  Mr. Johnson shared that he saw Mrs. Johnson's family.  Joe shared that he fell in a hole.  Caleb went skating.  Jack S. might go to a hockey game.  It is time for lunch.  The food was good.  We got to watch Shiloh.

Santa is coming to town.

Early Out

Today we get out at 2:00.  We get to check out new library books, watch a movie, eat lunch, go to recess, and watch the one act play.  We did Talking Time because we don't have school on Friday.  The movie will be Turbo or Planes.  For library I got the books Riding Freedom and Paint the Wind.  We watched Planes.  It is about a crop duster that wants to race.  Today we had P.E.  In P.E. we played the Turkey Hunt.  A.J. came back to visit today!!!!!!!!!

Tomorrow and Friday there is NO SCHOOL! Thanksgiving Break!!!

I am proud of the teachers today because they did not make us learn today.
