Storybird

We learned that habitats can be healthy or not healthy.  Mr. Johnson showed us a website called storybird.com.  It's fun.  You can create stories and you can also read books.

A Fun Day at School

Mr. Johnson came back today.  In Science we watched a movie about habitats.  In math we are learning about clocks.  We read a book about storms.  Tornadoes and lightning can be bad if you hide in a tree.

We are learning about clocks.  Dalton did funny things in calendar.  We are finishing up our habitats.  Today is Jump Rope for Heart.

Easter Was Fun!

In Math, we learned that the big hand on the clock is the minute hand and the little hand is the hour hand.
Thursday, the Easter Bunny came to our classroom and gave us each a plastic egg with a piece of chocolate inside.
Mrs. Scott's Skittles were mysteriously replaced with jelly beans.
Friday and Monday were no school days because of Easter break.

Some high schoolers came into our classroom.  It was fun.

Today we had a test in Math.  We are making pictures of habitats.  In Math, we also measured the lizard.  The lizard barely grew.  Today we wrote our newsletter, and I had to write supercalifragilisticexpialidocious.

Important News

On April 24th we are going to Ash Fall.  We are reading Vampires Do Hunt Marshmallow Bunnies.  In Science we are learning about food webs.  Food webs show us what animals eat.
