We did calendar.  We did Show and Tell.  Roxy and Kenna did Show and Tell.  We went to Mrs. Schlickbernd's classroom.  They showed us how to play Math games.  One game was called "Mind Reader."  The other one was called "Zap!"  We did lunch.  For lunch today we had Sloppy Joe's, tator tots, lettuce, and oranges.  We did recess.  I played with Makenna and Kenna and also Gaby.  We played Secret Agents.  We had Critical Thinking.  We played three games.  One game was called "Santa Says."  I do not know what the other two games were called.

Christmas is in six days!

We did the Health Run.  Then we did Calendar.  In Calendar we did the money, straws, and the day in English and Spanish.  Then we did show and tell.  Ryan and Eliseo did show and tell.  Then we did Problem of the Day.  Then we did our math rotations.  Then we had recess and then we went to lunch.  We had snack and milk.  We had Guidance.  We packed up and it was time to go.

We do not have any Word Study words this week.

In the morning we did the Health Run.  We did Calendar.  We did talking time.  We did a Math test on the computer.  Some people played the math sheet.  We read Elevator Magic.  We went to recess.  I played with Ryan, Roxy, and Matthew.  We played soccer.  We went to P.E.  We had to do push-ups and sit-ups.  We chose plans.  We are reading Merry Christmas, Amelia Bedelia.  It is a funny book.  We went to lunch.  Today's lunch was scalloped potatoes.  We went to recess.  We did round 1.  I did Listen to Reading.  I read Triceratops Gets Lost.  We did 2nd ground.  We went to the public library.  We read The Nutcracker, The Terrible, Horrible, Ugly Sweater,  We went to our 3rd recess.  Today's snack was peaches.  We did our computer test.  It was fun.  We did Writer's Workshop.  It was fun.  I am writing about Tryden's birthday.

Ryan's blog from Friday

Today is the 14th of December.  We did Morning Jobs.  It was the teacher's show and tell day.  We got to ask her 10 questions.  Mr. Johnson was gone on Friday.  In Math we did Christmas Math papers.  They were hard.  We had our first recess.  It was fun.  We had Music.  We finished the video from our concert.  We had lunch.  Today's lunch was green beans, grape juice, and chicken sandwich.  We did round one, two, and three.  I did Journal.  Mrs. Schlickbernd graduated on Friday.  We had our last reces..  We played Flush the Toilet.  We did Art.  We did free draw.  Then we had snack and milk.  We had a new poetry paper.  We checked our words, then checked out books.  We got ready to go home.

Today is the 13th.  We did the Health Run.  Then we did Calendar.  We did show and tell.  Tryden and Jack shared their show and tell.  We practiced our books that we read at the Care Center.  We went to the Care Center.  After we went to the Care Center we went out to recess.  Then we read Absent Author.  Then we ate lunch.  It was good.  Then we went to recess.  Then we did 1st round.  Then we did 2nd round and 3rd round.  Then we read Jingle, the Christmas Clown.  Then we went to Library.  It was fun.  We read The Bremen Town Musicians.  Then we did Author's Chair.  Ryan, Jack, and Tryden shared their stories.  Then we made cards for Mrs. Schlickbernd because she is graduating tomorrow!  Then we did round 4.  It was fun.  I did Word Study.  We got ready to go home.

Things We Did

Today we did Calendar and Math.  Then we had recess.  After recess, we got our P.E. shoes on and went to P.E.  After P.E. we read A to Z mystery called The Absent Author.  Then we washed our hands and went to lunch.  For lunch we had beef and noodles, corn, cauliflower, wheat rolls, and apples.  After lunch we had recess.  After recess we did our Language Arts Block.  After our Language Arts Block, we had recess.  After recess we did Student of the Week letters.  After our Student of the Week letters we went to Critical Thinking and made Christmas pictures out of Q-tips.  Then we did Science.  We did Round 4.  I did Read to Self.

We got to use our pencils that we designed all day!
