A Great Day, by Lane

Today Ruben let me play with him.  At music a lot of people cheered me.  For the Corner Game, Cael was really cheering me on.  So were Ruben, Eduardo,  Brandon, and Alex.

May 10th is our spring concert.  I am proud of Ruben today for getting started right away on reading.

Today our Wayne State College friends came so we can read and learn more.  We got to play for a little bit with play-do.

I am proud of Alex because he was doing a math center with me.

Writing and Word Study, by Jacob

In Word Study we are working on our sound boards.  We got done with our first column.  In writing we worked on our narrative stories.  Some people are on their final copy.

Wayne State College friends are coming on Friday.  I am proud of Lexie and Cael today.  Cael got started on Listen to Reading.  Lexie she got done with ninja math.

Math and Recess, by Hadley

For my first round in Math I did independent work.  It was problem of the day and fixes.  We got one center done in round one.  During round two I did my blog post.  In round three I did a math choice with Lexie.  It was Tens Go Fish.  Fourth round I measured stuff.  At first recess I  played with Lexie and Gracyn.  First we talked then we swung.  After lunch we have more recess.  At 2nd recess I played with Lexie, Mason, and Gracyn.  During last recess I played with Lexie on the swing.  Than was my half part of my day.

Library books are due on Friday.  There is no late start on April 18.  Wayne State College friends are coming on Friday.  I am proud of Colt Lynn today for being nice to Gracyn.

All About Today, by Gracyn

Today I had sharing.  I brought Shrinky Dinks.  The Shrinky Dinks I brought were my fish and my flower.  For sharing we have to bring something that relates to school.  Shrinky Dinks  relate because there are animals and plants on maps.  Today I also played with Colt Lynn for math choice.  We played Roll to a Hundred.  It was fun.  At recess I played with Megan on the gliders.  That was really fun.  After that we went to music, then lunch.  Then we went to recess.  I played with Isabella.  She said we will play next recess and tomorrow.  Now we're doing word work.  After that we have Guided Reading, recess, writer's workshop, social studies, last round of guided reading, closing circle, and dismissal.  I know I might be giving too much information but after that I go to day care at my aunt's.  I forgot before writer's workshop we do read aloud.

Library books are due on Friday.  No late start on April 18, 2016.  College friends are coming on Friday.  I am proud of Lexie because she got started right away on Listen to Reading.

My show and tell is two fans.  They were made in China.  There relate to Social Studies because we are learning about maps and globes.  China is on the globe.
