Today we switched books.  I got a book about black holes.  And I got the Family Circus and Club Penguin.  Our writing time was different because we had story starters.  We got books about earth.  We threw our beetles away.

Today in the morning we did the Health Run, then we did morning jobs.  I watered my plant.  Andrea was calendar helper.  In Calendar we did straws, money, teacher's helpers and the date.  Then we did Math.  We did tie.  It was fun.  Then we went to recess.  I played with Ella.  We played Knock Out.  It was fun.  Then we went to Music.  In Music we learned a new song.  We read There's an Owl in the Shower.  It is funny.  Then we went to lunch.  Today's lunch was corn, chicken strips, wheat rolls and watermelon.  We did first round.  I had to meet with Mrs. Northwick.  We did blenders.  It was fun.  Then we had snack.  Today snack was apples.  It was good.  Mr. Clay came and we did a flip book.  It was fun.  Then we did writing.  Mr. Johnson had to conference with me.  In Science we watched a video.  It was about the planets.  In our Learning Log we had to write what we learned about the planets.

A Good Day

Jocelyn got ready for Calendar, then we had Calendar.  Jocelyn did a good job with Calendar.  After Calendar we did our Math test about temperature and time.  We had P.E. right after recess.  We did Jump Rope for Heart.  That's when we jump rope to keep our hearts healthy.  We also reaise money for the American Heart Association.  After lunch we had recess.  I played tag.  It was fun.  Then Writer's Workshop.  I worked on the blog. Finally we had Science.  In Science we observed our meal worms for the last time.  Then we had fourth round.  I did read to self.

We don't have school the 28th and 29th, and April 1st.

Over the weekend try to collect money for Jump Rope for Heart.

We did the Health Run.  We listened to music.  We did Math.  We played games that Roxy, Ryan, Jack, Kenna, and Tryden made.  We had lunch.  For lunch we had vegetable soup, grilled cheese, celery or carrots, and orange juice.  We had recess.  I played with Brianna and Andrea and Fatima.  We did our rounds.  I did read to self, and read with someone, and meet with a teacher.  We had Art.  We did free draw.  We marked our word study lists off.  We did Science.  In Science we looked at our meal worms.  We packed up to go home.

Next Thursday and Friday and Monday is Spring Break!

Today in Math we used temperature and time.  Then we had recess.  At recess I played tag.  Then we had lunch.  For lunch we had goulash, cauliflower, lettuce, wheat rolls, and pears.

Today we did not have the Health Run because there was the art show.  We had to sit out in the hallway with our book boxes.  Then we went into our classroom.  Calendar and Show and Tell were next.  Walker was the calendar helper.  Show and Tell was next.  It was Roxy, Walker, and Kenna's day.  Next was Math.  In Math we learned time.  I think we worked with half past, quarter after, and quarter of.  It was recess time.  I played tag with a lot of people.  It was fun.

Things We Did

The first thing we did was the Health Run.  When we all got in the classroom Eliseo did calendar.  In calendar we did money and straws.  Then Eliseo said the student helpers.  We moved on to Math.  In Math we got new games.  We went to lunch.  For lunch we had hot dogs, tater tots, and fresh fruit. 

Tomorrow is spring.
