The 12th Day of School

We did a test in Math.  It was about adding and subtracting.  We did our best.  We did Author's Chair.  Ryan, Jack, and Tryden shared.  There is no school on Labor Day.

The Second Week

We learned subtracting and did a new paper in Math.  We also had Guidance.  We did sharing today too.  We made community maps.

We went to the Depot Museum.  We learned that Wakefield is over 100 years old.  We had P.E. We read a Magic Tree House book.  We didn't do Math because we went to the museum.  We had iPads today.  We had a writing test.  We had milk.  We did Author's Chair. Makenna, Andrea, and I shared today.

We did calendar.  Carine came to our class!  She lives in Belgium.  There are three chocolates in Belgium.  She doesn’t have an air conditioner in her school.  She teaches first grade. We did Word Study.

We did the Math Word Wall.    The words were plus, whole, equals, add, addition sentence, sum, and part.  We did the iPads.

The Third Day of School

We did calendar, and then Math.  We had P.E. after recess.  We rode the scooters.  We decided our expectations for students and teachers.  We talked about Read to Self.  Read our blog on Monday to see a picture of our expectations.  Show and tell starts Monday!

The First Day of School!

We did the Flag Raising.  We said the the Pledge of Allegiance, we watched people shoot guns.  The guns were loud!  We learned about our classroom jobs, and did calendar.  We made hats and shirts that told about us.  We celebrated Ja'lela's birthday.  We read Chrysanthemum.  It was a super first day of school!
