Ryan's Blog

We did the health run.  Tryden was the only one doing show and tell.  I did Math. It was hard.  We had recess.  We did our third round.  I made a movie in Mrs. Schlickbernd's classroom.  We had Library.  We looked up facts in books.  We did Science.  We are making a new pencil, and we get to use it for a day.  We watched Tryden and Isaiah's video, and Alex's and my video.

Roxy's Blog

Walker, Kenna, and I did show and tell.  We regrouped in Math.  Math was fun.  In Math we could not use tens and ones to help us.  We had lunch.  It was good.  We made a web for Jack.  We got new books for Listen to Reading.  We did Language Arts block.  It was fun.  We wrote letters to Jack because he is Student of the Week.  We did Science.  We are going to make a pencil.

In the morning we did our morning jobs.  Then we had recess and P.E.  In Science we made simple machines to try to ring a bell with a metal marble.

We did the Health Run and calendar.  Then we did Math.  It was fun.  We learned about subtraction with regrouping.  We went to recess.  It was fun.  In the afternoon we watched two movies about Pilgrims and Native Americans.  The Pilgrims had small houses.  It was fun watching the movies.

Newsletter!

Read our newsletter!  Each month our class writes our own newsletter to share with parents.  We brainstorm topics to write about, and then students sign up for the article they want to write.  They fill out a graphic organizer to help them organize their ideas, then write the article.  Sometimes we have pictures we can add as well.  Enjoy reading!

The 16th Day of November

We did our morning jobs.  We did Calendar.  We read Tryden's student of the week letters.  We watched the movie Charlotte's Web. We had two recesses.  We had P.E.  We had our last recess.  Tryden, Eliseo, and Ryan shared their published books.  We didn't go to the Care Center because many residents were sick.  We will go in December.

The 15th Day of November

In the morning we did our morning jobs.  Then we were working on our door.  We did round 1, round 2, and round 3.  Then, Library.  Then it was time to go.  We shared our books with Miss C. and Miss Soares.

In the morning we did calendar.  Today's show and tell was Roxy, Kenna, and Walker.  We wrote some letters to special people.  We are reading Charlotte's Web.  We are on chapter 18.  We went to recess.  We went to  P.E.  In P.E. we ran 15 laps.  We got hats.  We went to lunch.  Today's lunch was chicken noodle soup and peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and apple sauce.  We did our first round of small group, and second round of small group, and third round of small group, and fourth round.  We did our letters for Tryden.  We went to our third recess.  Today's snack was strawberries.  We went to Critical Thinking.  We did an experiment with raisins floating in Sprite.  We are choosing a picture for Charlotte's Web.  

We are going to the Care Center on Friday.

Today was a late start.  Tryden is Student of the Week.  We did read aloud.  We read Charlotte's Web.  We had P.E.  Makenna, Andrea, and I had Author's Chair.  Author's Chair is when we share our stories that we have written.  I got to share my book.  We only had two recesses today, but it was still fun.  

Next week we get out of school early on Wednesday and no school Thursday or Friday.

We did calendar.  Mrs. Scott did not bring show and tell.  We got to find out stuff about Mrs. Scott.  We did some math problems.  We got a skittle.  We had lunch.  Then we did Buddy Test.  Then we got new books for our book boxes.

We did calendar.  Then we did show and tell.  The people that did show and tell were Walker, Kenna, and Roxy.  Then we did a Math video.  After we watched our Math video we had our Math rotations.  After our Math rotations we went to recess.  After recess we got our P.E. shoes on and went to P.E.  After P.E. we read Charlotte's Web.  When we were done with Charlotte's Web we washed our hands for lunch.  For lunch we had sloppy joes.  After lunch we had recess.  I played ninja's with Matthew.  It was fun.  Then we had Language Arts block.  After our Language Arts block we had another recess. 

No school on November 22, because it is Thanksgiving.
