Best Day Ever

We did show and tell.  Next we did calendar.  In calendar we did a money sheet.  Then we did math.  The small group played battleship.  We learned about coordinate graphs.  We had recess.  It was inside.  It was time for music.  Now lunch was fries.  It's now rounds.  Then third recess came.  We had read aloud.  We're reading Magic Tree House.

We're going to Ashfall Fossil Beds on May 2.  I am proud of me today because I got a word study done.

April 25, 2014: Friday

At 8:18 Gannon was calendar helper.  He was fast.  At first recess Gannon's cousin came.  He played soccer with us.  For lunch we had goulash, broccoli, and grape juice.

We are going to Ashfall Fossil Beds on Friday.  I am proud of Mr. Johnson for teaching us interesting things.

We made clay pots in art.  Miss Nelson left today and won't come back.  We are going to Ashfall Fossil Beds on May 2nd.  I am proud of Miss Nelson for reading to us.

Best Day Ever

Today was a fun day.  We did show and tell before calendar because the SMARTBoard was not working.  Summer break is next month.  I am proud of the class today because they ran hard in the health run.

Time to Go Back to School

In Mrs. Gutzman's room she showed us a little black cat.  We named the cat Shadow.  Today we made our word study lists.  The spelling rule for this week is it has to have "tion" in it.  In Science we got root beer floats.  We had to figure out which is the solid, liquid, or gas.

Today is Earth Day.  I am proud of Jack P. today because he tried his best to figure out which was a solid, liquid, or gas.

April 17, 2014: Care Center Day

Today we went to the Care Center.  In rounds I did journal.  Then I went to Mrs. Schlickbernd's and we read a story about earthquakes.  After that I did read to self.  Then I did read to someone with Airam.

Next Monday we don't have school, and tomorrow we don't have school.  I am proud of Jordan today because she used her time wisely on round 4.

April 16, 2014: Easter is this Sunday!!!

We had show and tell.  For show and tell I brought a quilt, Katie brought a stuffed fox, Jack P. brought legos, Michaela brought Monster High dolls, and Caleb shared about his stuffed snake.  In Math some people went to Mrs. Gutzman's classroom.  I am excited for Easter!!  Tomorrow is our Math test.  Tuesday, April 22, 2014 is Miss Gerholdt's last day and we will miss her very very very much!  We had Language Arts Block.  For 1st round I had Mrs. Schlickbernd, for round 2 I had read to self, for round 3 I had read to someone, for round 4 I had work on writing.  Today we had Library.

Tomorrow is a day that we go to the Care Center!!!!  I am proud of all the teachers today because they work hard to make things great!!!

Blue Ribbon School

We had show and tell.  In show and tell I shared about my accident.  Airam shared about Daisy.  Martiza shared that she might go to the park.  Joe shared that his bottle cap escaped.  Jack S. brought a Lego monster.  Gannon shared about on Saturday he and Trystan B. played Mindcraft.  We had math and in math we learned about quarter till.

On the 20th it is Easter.  I am proud of Airam today for helping me pick up.

Late Start!!

Today is a late start day.  It is a little different from regular days.  We have no word study.  We are doing calendar.  A.J. is the calendar helper.  We had P.E.  It was fun.  In P.E. we did a 4 minute run.  Then we did cup stacking.  We had lunch.  In lunch we had tacos, refried beans, lettuce, and peaches.  We had recess. In recess I played tag.  It was fun.  We did talking time.  Caleb shared that he went to the circus.  We did Social Studies.  In Social Studies we are working on our Barefoot Island.  It's writing time.  We are working on different things.  We did Guidance.  We wrote.  We had rounds 2, 3, and 4.  I had Journal and Work on Writing.  We packed up.  You do 3 things.

April 18 is Easter break!  I am proud of me today because I got my blog done.

April 11, 2014: Last Day of the Week

Jeremiah is calendar helper.  Mow we are doing talking time.  We did Math.  In Math I played math centers.  Now it is recess time.  In recess I'm going to play with Hannah. When we come from recess it is time for Music.  When we come back from Music we have lunch.  When lunch is over it is time for recess.  We got to see a trailer about the book Red Dog.  It was fun.

Next Thursday we are going to the Care Center.  I am proud of Hannah today because she finished her math centers.

Today we are doing calendar.  Next we are doing show and tell.  Now we are doing math.  In math we are learning about time.  Some things take minutes, some things take seconds and hours.  Finally we are going to recess.

On the 20th it is Easter day.  I am proud of myself today because I am almost done on my word study.

April 9, 2014: My Sharing

Michaela brought Frozen dolls.  Jordan said she's going to make a blanket for someone. Caleb shared his lego figures.  I shared about my birthday which was the fifth.  Isaac shared he took down his fence.  We did daily four. In first round I had teacher.  Next I had read to self.  Then I had writing.  Finally I had word study!  We had writing.  In writing we are making a story and everybody gets to write a sentence.

The 20th is Easter!  I am proud of Mrs. Gutzman today because she taught some of us how to use pentominoes.

Funnest Day Ever

We did show and tell.  A.J. brought three tractors.  Jeremiah brought a toy car from McDonald's, and it glows in the dark.  Tristian talked about how he got to ride a horse.  Jaxton brought a toy train.  In music we sang our concert songs.

Next Friday we are going to the Care Center.  I am proud of me today because I got my tic-tac-toe done.

It is time for show and tell.  Isaac shared first.  He was shooting hoops and he tripped on his bike.  Katie is next.  She shared about a bear.  Jack P. shared about his angry birds star wars.  Caleb is next.  He brought minecraft toys.  Jordan shared about books.  Michaela shared about a gorilla.  In math there was some hard games.

WE did Math. We got a new math book.  We learned about ounces and pounds.  At recess people kept getting hurt.
