March 28, 2014: Wee-hoo

We did calendar.  Hannah was calendar helper but she had to read with a Wayne State person.  In Critical Thinking we measured air.  In math we went to Mrs. Schlickbernd's classroom and played math games.

Easter is next month.  I am proud of Isaac today because he finished his Buddy Test.

3-27-14: A Day at School

We did our last Battle of the Books book today.  It was Blackout.  We also read it in library some days ago.

We finally get to play Battle of the Books on Monday.  Jaxton was working hard on word study today.

3-26-14: Best Day!

We had Math.  In Math we learned capacity.  We had P.E.  In P.E. we stacked cups.  We had lunch.  It was pizza.  We had rounds.  We went to the Big Show.

April 20th is Easter.  I am proud of Jackson today because he got his tic-tac-toe done.

The Best Day Ever

We did a project about capacity.  We did it with rice.  I met with Mrs. Soderberg.  In iPad time we did Scribble Press.

The Big Show is tomorrow.  I am proud of me today because I was doing my work.

First Day of the School Week!!!

We did calendar.  Caleb is calendar helper today.  We did fact families.  In fact families Caleb picked 24 and 3.  We had math.  In math we watched a video about capacity.  Capacity is how much something can hold.  In math, some of us go to Mrs. Gutzman's.  For lunch we had chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes, and a dinner roll.  We are having a book swap for Pre-K-6 kids.  Bring books that are in god shape please.  Books will be collected March 24th through 28th.  The actual book swap is March 31st through April 1st. It is really fun!!  This is what it is.  Say you bring 5 books of you own.  You get to pick 5 different books out.  It was a great day!!!

Easter is April 20th.  I am proud of my teacher today because he helped us know what capacity is.

March 20, 2014: Blue Ribbon School!

We had calendar.  Jeremiah was calendar helper.  We had show and tell.  Hannah brought her lalaloopsy.  Tristian brought his transformer.  Jaxton brought his gold sword.  Jeremiah brought his race track, and Arlan brought his Diary of a Wimpy Kid books.  We had math.  In math we had a test.  Then we had music.  In music we practiced our concert songs.  Then we had lunch.  In lunch we had BBQ pork on a homemade bun, corn, and strawberries.  Then we had rounds.  In rounds I had read to self, work on writing, and group.  We had milk count.  We got a new student teacher.  Her name is Miss Nelson.  We had read aloud.  We had writing.  In writing we are talking about the setting.  We had fourth round.  I had journal.

Tomorrow we have Buddy Test.  I am proud of Hannah today for finishing her word study tic-tac-toe.

March 19, 2014: Best Year Ever

Jaxton is calendar today.  After calendar it's time for show and tell.  Michaela shared about her hermit crabs.  Jack shared his cars.  Jordan shared that on the 29th she is going roller skating.  Now it is time for math. In math we are talking about area.  We are going to have a sheet.

Friday is Buddy Test.  I am proud of Maritza because she got her work done.

Best Day Ever!

Michaela is calendar helper today.  Ashlyn said that she is going to Airam's house.  We are measuring the perimeter of the rug.  We had 430 cubes to measure the perimeter of the rug.  In Math there was a sheet and it was a little hard.  We did three recesses.  Mrs. Johnson did a read aloud.

We have to finish our tic-tac-toe by Thursday.  I am proud of Airam today because she helped me in math.

The Irish Day

It is St. Patrick's Day.  Many people are wearing green.  Jordan is calendar.  It is the 134th day of school.  We are having round 1 now.  I'm doing word study,  I only have two left.

On the 29th there is a wrestling tournament in Wayne.  I am proud of Jordan today because she gets her work done.

March 14, 2014: Friday! Yay! Yay! Yay!

We had talking time. Mr. Johnson pulled out a chat pack.  It was, "What are you certain you'll be good at when you are grown up?" I said I'll be good at making video games and playing them.  Jaxton said the same thing except he doesn't want to play them. We did Buddy Test.  I think I got all of them right.  I got Magic Tree House #31, Summer of the Sea Serpent.  I have read it before.

Late start on Monday the 17th.  It is a 2 hour one.  I am proud of Gannon today because he got a Trojan Pride award.

March 13, 2014: Best Day Ever!!!

Today we finished our Magic Tree House book.  We had no battle of the books.  She will come on Friday.

Care Center on Friday.  I am proud of myself today because I got done with my story.

March 12, 2014: A Good Day

Today Airam was calendar.  It was faster than I thought it would be.  Jack P. shared his angry birds star wars. Jordan shared about her shoes for her aunt's wedding. They were pretty.  Today we are doing a scavenger hunt again.  It was fun.  I almost got it done.  I just have to finish one more answer.

Care Center is on Friday.  I am proud of myself today for getting most of my stuff done.

Maritza shared about rubber bands.  Joe shared a book.  A.J. and Tristian shared their blog posts.  We learned about inches, a yard stick, and a foot.

On Friday we go to the Care Center.  I am proud of Jeremiah today because he worked hard.

Gannon was calendar helper.  In math we are working on measurement.  We did music.  Tomorrow is Mr. Johnson's birthday.  He turns 38.

No school tomorrow.  I am proud of myself today because I made good choices.

Today Mrs. Soderberg read One Fish, 2 Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish, and she let us eat goldfish.  In library we had a visitor to read to us and it was my mom.  I got to be by my mom when we took a picture.

No school on Friday.  I am proud of Mr. Johnson for being a great teacher.

No school on Friday.  I am proud of myself today because I worked hard on the math test.

February 28, 2014: Fun Day

We had math.  In math we watched a video about fractions.  Then came recess.  Then P.E.  We played hockey.  We had lunch.  It was yummy.  We did Buddy Test.  Then we did round 1, 2, and 3.  Then we had recess again.  We had Critical Thinking.  In Critical Thinking we built stuff with shapes.  We had milk break.  We did author's chair.  Tristian shared cows without corn.  We did linking verbs.  We worked on science stuff.  We marked down our word study lists.

March 7 is spring break.  I am proud of me today because I got my tic-tac-toe done.
