Today me and Yamilet played puppies and I was the person, and Yamilet was the dog.  We ate cheese crackers for snack.

Library books are due on Friday.  I am proud of Adela today because she was being nice and she was playing with me.

First we did Morning Meeting, the question was, what do you want to be when you grow up?  Then we had lunch, then we had writer's workshop.  Mr. Wulf came into Mr. Johnson's room.  Next we did guided reading.  Then we did P.E.  Then we did recess.  Then we had snack then word study.  Next we had guidance.  Next we did guided reading.  I did word work and met with Mr. Johnson.  We typed this down.  We are doing 4th round.

Wear hats and gloves.  Library books are due Friday.  I am proud of Aleigha today because she got her work done.

A Normal Day, by Aleigha

We are doing Morning Meeting.  We can share whatever we want.  On Mondays we go to art when the rest of the school goes to recess.  We get our own recess later.  After morning meeting we have math.  After math we go to recess.  After recess we go to music. After music we go to lunch.  After lunch we go to recess.  We have word study.  After word study we have guided reading.  After guided reading we go to art.  After art we go to writer's workshop.  After writer's workshop we go to recess.  After recess we have snack.  After snack we have science or social studies.  In social studies we are learning about needs and wants.

Remember to bring hats and gloves.  I am proud of Hadley today because she played with me at recess.

Today is the 99th Day of School, by Colton

Today Mrs. Bodlak told about her time in Peru.  She got us gold Peru coins.  For lunch today we got pork chop patties, baked beans, and cucumbers.  For snack we had nutri grain straberry flavor. In social studies we are learning about Martin Luther King, Jr.

Remember hats and gloves.  I am proud of Mahlik today for being a good friend.  He played nicely with me.

We worked on Martin Luther King, Jr. today.  Today there is 2 more days to the 100th day.  Mrs. Scott was here today.  We read Martin Luther King, Jr. books.  We drew pictures.  We did word study.

I ate fish sticks or cheese sticks.  I don't know which but it was good.  Other people and I were running in recess.  Me and Ruben were playing with my action figure.

Today we did lunch. Then we went to recess.  We did word study.  We did Guided Reading.  I did read to someone first round, second round I met with Mr. Johnson.  Then we went to music.  Then we had recess in the classroom.  Then we had art.  Then we did Guided Reading.

Today Brandon is the calendar helper.  We are reading January Joker.  Yesterday we had guidance.  Three people brought show and tell.  Colt Lynn brought a yo-yo.  Erica brought a toy cat.  Hadley brought a puppy and the name is Whiskers.

Late start on January 18, 2016.  Bring hats and gloves because it is going to be cold.  I am proud of Ruben because he was being polite during the morning meeting.

Today Adela was calendar helper.  Colton had sharing and so did Mahlik.  Mahlik had cars and Colton had a plane with a penguin.  We are learning how to subtract two-digit numbers.  For math we had a review page.  For math centers I did Snowman Stories.  For IXL the class did level G.  Fourth round is my group.  In my group we subtracted.  We got to make our own problem.  Mr. Johnson checked our unfinished work folders.  I played with Lexie and Gracyn.  In music we had disco.  Then we went to lunch.  It was hamburgers.  Then we did word study.  We put words on our word wall!  We did word study differently.  My round one was journal.  I read The Garden on Green Street for group.  We did milk count.  Roselin did it for us.  We are reading a book called January Joker as a class.  In writing we are going to demonstrate how to do our topic.

1-18-16 is a late start.  Remember to wear hats and gloves!  I am proud of Jacob today because when the teacher was talking he wasn't.

Today is a normal day.  In morning meeting the question was, "What is something you only see on TV that you would like to do?"  Today at last recess I played with Yamilet, Adela, Cale, Hadley, Jacob, and Brandon.  We played Jengoquake and Jumping Jack.  Today was also Ruben's birthday.  For his birthday game he chose Electricity.  It was fun.  The whole day was fun.

1-18-16 is a late start.  I am proud of Adela today because she was a good friend to me.  She let me play with her.

We did math.  Then we went to music.  I got to sit in Miss Bowers old chair.  We got to paint our pumpkin in art.  Today was great.

Today we had calendar.  Next we did morning meeting.  Then we did math.  At recess we played in the snow!  It was fun.  The second recess Roselin and I built a snowman.  Other kids were building a snowman.  Then we did Aleigha's birthday!

Tomorrow is Care Center.  I am proud of Aleigha today because she was paying attention when Mahlik was doing calendar.

Today I read with Lane.  At P.E. we did fitness cards and basketball dribbling.  On January 12 it is my birthday.  Today in Guidance we had to draw our family.
