The Thursday Blog

We are doing show and tell.  Tristian brought his gack.  A.J. brought a lego set.  We read a Magic Tree House book, Hour of the Olympics.  We read a book with Mrs. Metzler.  The name is The Lost and Found Pony.  We did the names of the people.  Jaxton filled the stars and he filled 4 stars.

Dr. Seuss next week.  I am proud of me today because I worked hard.

February 26, 2014: COLD DAY!!!!!!!!

Today we might not go outside for recess because today is a COLD DAY!!!!!!!!!!  Today is the 123rd day of school!!!  In math today we learned fractions.  Hannah is student of the week.  Today she shared her bulletin board.  She brought a Lalaloopsy dol, a book, a picture in a picture frame, a birth certificate for her build-a-bear work shop, and other pictures.

Next week is Dr. Seuss week.  I am proud of my science group because we are almost done with our project.

February 21, 2014: Best Day Ever!!!!!!!!!!!!

Today Jaxton is calendar helper.  Today it is the 120th day of school.  We had math.  In math we learned a new game called Black vs. Red.  We had Buddy Test.  My partner was Tristian.  Then we had rounds.  In round 1 I had journal, work on writing, and group.  Now we are getting Tristian's birthday treats.  Now we are picking spots.  Then we did battle of the books.  Now we are doing word study.  Now we are doing Jaxton's student of the week book.  Now we are doing Tristian's birthday game.

The play is Monday during school and Tuesday.

I am proud of my class today because we did our best on Buddy Test.

We did calendar.  In math we are starting a new topic.  It is called fractions.  What can you do with fractions?  You can cut them.  Doing fractions can be fun.  It is time for recess.  It is snowing out there.

Remember to bring snow boots and snow pants.

Maritza is gone so I'm subbing for her.  Today Jordan is calendar.  It is the 118th day of school.  Jack P. shared about legos.  It is math time.  It is a test day.  We learned about 3D shapes.  It was fun.

Three more wrestling practices until the tournament.  I am proud of libraries today because they help us read.

Wrestling

Today is Calendar.  It is the 117th day of school.  Jack shared about legos.  Joe shared about soap.  Now it is math.  It is a repeat of 3D shapes.  Tomorrow we are having a test.

March 1st is the trojan wrestling tournament.  Don't forget your singlet and wrestling shoes if you have them.  An a face mask if you have one.

I am proud of teachers today because they help us in school.

Late Start

We had P.E.  In P.E. we played P.E. Powerball.  Then we got shoes and walkers.  I got 4 shoes.

Library books are due by Wednesday.  I am proud of my group today because we decided together on what to do for our bulletin board.  We decided to make a poster.

February 11, 2014 - Short Week

Gannon is Calendar Helper.  It is time for talking time.  Caleb shared his sisiter gave him a box of legos and he built a space ship for the farmer.  Katie said she would make a banana taste like a strawberry.  In Math we worked on congruent.  We read poems after recess.  For rounds first I did meet with teacher and second round I did teacher again.  Third, journal, fourth read to someone.  Mr. Clay the Guidance teacher came to class.

No school on Friday.

I am proud of me because I worked hard in Math.

Today Rocks

We had show and tell.  Gannon had a wrestling mask.  We learned about shapes, and translation, reflection, and rotation.  We went to music and sang one song.

We have to go to the Care Center on Thursday.  I am proud of Maritza because she did the right thing on the computer.

Today Jack P. was calendar helper.  The chat pack was if you won $1,000.00 what would you spend it on?  Today we did Daily 5 rounds.  First I did listen to reading, second teacher,  and third read to self.  Today we did Isaac's student of the week letters.  Today for Math our independent work was hard.

The 14th is Valentine's Day.

Today we started doing show and tell at the rug.  A.J. brought two planes.  I brought my backugon but Tristian just told us.  Isaac shared his bulletin board.  He had a whoopee cushion and bay warriors.  We had Battle of the Books today.

Valentine's Day is coming soon.  I am proud of my class today because we worked really hard in Art.

Isaac is the Student of the Week, and I like Isaac's light saber.  We learned about President Obama with Mrs. Soderberg.  Today was a fun day.

We did Calendar.  In Calendar we did fact families.  We did money too.  We did sharing.  In Sharing Joe shared about a lamb.  We had Math.  Inn Math we learned about 3D shapes.  Today we used play-dough to build landforms.

February 3: Monday's Blog

In Math we did rotations.  After Math we went to recess.  With Mrs. Soderberg we made blizzards and the other class got some and our class got some too.

We are celebrating Valentine's Day on Thursday, February 13th.  Empty cereal boxes on February 5th.

Today we did Math.  In Math we did our test about regrouping.  In reading small groups I did Work on Writing then I went to Mrs. Schlickbernd's class.  After that I did read to self.  I'm glad I'm the blogger today.
