What We Did Today

In Science we are learning about force and motion.  It is fun.  We watched two videos about force and motion.  Force is a push or a pull.  In Math we are learning about fractions.  We read a story called Nutik the Wolf Pup.  Nutik, the Wolf Pup's author wrote The Owl in the Shower.  In music we are practicing our songs for our spring concert.  We are going to sing Disney songs and a High School Musical song too.  It is 81 degrees outside.

At the Care Center

Today we went to the Care Center and we got to read to the people that were there.  We went on the bus, and the person who was in the bus was Mike.  Mike gave us a ride to the Care Center, and it was so fun at the Care Center.  On Friday we don't have school because we have a vacation.

Fun Times with Mr. Johnson

In Science we made a big track.  Lauren was in charge of the tape, and Kaleigh was in charge of the marble.  In Guidance we hid from Mr. Johnson.  We said, "Surprise!  Happy Birthday!"  Then we did "Cha, cha, cha," to Mr. Johnson.  Today is Mr. Johnson's birthday.  We are reading There's an Owl in the Shower.  We had a Math test.  We said, "Bring it on!" Tomorrow we are going to the Care Center to read.

We had Fun in Science

In Science we were in groups.  We were seeing who could get the marble in the cup three times in a row.  We used white tracks, and the marble had to go across the room, and land in the cup.  The tracks were both close to being the same.

Today was a Fun Day

Today we waited for calendar.  Kaleigh was the Calendar Helper.  We also did rotations in Math.  Today we went to the library.  The guest reader was Pat Lunz.  She read If I Ran the Zoo. She did a super job.  In Science we got in groups and made tracks to try to move the marble.

Today was Dr. Seuss's birthday.  At lunch we had cake.  Today was also bring your stuffed animal to school day.  We had lots of fun with our stuffed animals.  We went to Mrs. Schlickbernd's class and watched a Dr. Seuss movie.  In Library we learned about Dewey the cat and read a book about him.

What We Learned About

In Math we learned about symmetry.  We also painted our earths.  Tomorrow is Dr. Seuss's birthday.  We did speech bubbles.  It had me and Lauren on it.
