First we did our Math Minute.  Then we did calendar.  We did morning meeting.  Then we went to lunch and recess.  For writing we did presentations.  We did our Valentine bags.  It was fun.  In music we watched the brass family.  After music we went to recess.  After recess we went to the spelling bee.

February 11, 2016 is parent-teacher conferences.  I am proud of Cael today because he got the runner of the day trophy.

Colton's Last Day, by Ruben

Today is Colton's last day of school.  He's moving to Columbus.  Today me, Alex, and Lane were playing a monster game.  I was a monster.

Library books are due on Friday.  I am proud of Lane today because he played with me.

In the morning we did our math minute book.  Yamilet is done with her math minute book.  Then Aleigha did calendar.  Then we did morning meeting.  Our question was what favorite words starts with the letter d?  Then we went to lunch.  For lunch we ate pizza, broccoli, and peaches.  Then we went to recess.  Then we did math.  Then we did guided reading.  Then we went to P.E.  Then we went to recess.  Then we did writer's workshop.  Then we did guided reading.  Then closing circle.  And then it is dismissal.

Library books are due on Friday.  Remember you things for presentations.  I am proud of Hadley today because she was running hard and she got a trophy.

Today I worked with Jaden on math books.  I am reading to someone with Lane.  Today we are making our word study list.  I did antonyms for literacy centers.  It was fun.  Then I did synonyms.  Mahlik is sharing in Writer's Workshop.  It was cool.

Tomorrow we probably don't have school.  I am proud of Lane today because he played outside with me.

Today we did morning meeting.  We did Math and we worked on subtracting.  In P.E. we played two games.  I played tag at recess.

Remember hats and gloves next week.  I am proud of everyone because they were being a good friend.

Blog post from 1/28/16: Final Copy Day, by Mahlik

Today I started my final copy.  For lunch today we had chicken nuggets, green beans, carrots, homemade buns, and pears.  For first round I did Journal.  For social studies we were drawing a picture of a store that we would like to make.  Me and Colton were partners.

Remember your library books are due on Friday.  I am proud of Cael today because he was letting people play on my sleigh.

Blog post from 1/22/16: The Hundredth Day of School! by Alexia

Today is the hundredth day of school!  We start our day by doing our math minutes, book shoppers don't have to do their math minutes because they have to, well, book shop.  After doing our math minutes and book shopping we get a free choice until calendar.  Eduardo is calendar helper today.  Now we're starting calendar.  After calendar we do the Pledge of Allegiance and morning meeting.  The question was if you could have a hundred of something what would it be?  I said a hundred Miss Bowers.  After morning meeting we start math, there are four rounds.  First round I do independent work.  My second round is centers. Third round I do IXL, fourth round I do meet with teacher.  After math we go to recess.  Then we do music and then lunch.  After lunch we do recess.  Later we did our hundredth day activity.  Then we went to recess and did some more hundredth day activity.  It was time for snack.  After that we go to library.  Soon later we do poetry instead of writing.  It was time to go home by now.

Remember to wear your hats and gloves!  I am proud of everyone today for having fun.
