Math and Art, by Yamilet

In math we are learning a new game about fractions.  In math I did a center with Adela.  We got done. In art we did a pirate ship.  It was hard to do.  I thought it was going to be a plant but it was a pirate ship.  It was smaller than a castle, a building, and an apartment.

Library books are due on Friday.  I am proud of Adela today because she was helping me clean up a center.

Care Center and Library, by Brandon

We went to the Care Center.  I chose the books Super Hair-o and the Barber of Doom,  and The Day the Crayons Quit.  I read to 2 people.  I had a good time.  We went to the library.  We had to choose which book we want for the Golden Sower award.  Mrs. Klein said when they decide who's the winner they call them and tell them him or her what they won.

Library books are due on Friday next week.  I am proud of Jacob and Lane today because they got started right away on Word Work.

Recess and Autism Awareness Month, by Ruben

This month we made Autism Awareness Ribbons.  Me, Cael, Alex, Brandon, and Lane played a game at recess.

Care Center tomorrow.  I am proud of Cael today for letting me play a game.

Music, Lunch, and Recess, by Adela

We went to music and we are practicing our songs.  After music we went to lunch and we ate sloppy joes, tater-tots, lettuce, and pears.  At recess me, Erica, Yamilet and Angie were playing by rolling on the hills.

On Friday we will go to the care center to read.  I am proud of Erica, Yamilet, and Ruben today because they were doing good on their independent work.  Ruben was the second math ninja.

We are doing word study.  We are finishing our sound words.  I had nothing to say so I passed.

We are going to the Care Center on Friday.  I am proud of Brandon and Jacob today because they didn't throw a fit in P.E.

We are doing word study.  We have to write words.  We have to work hard.  Then we get to say words.  Then Mr. Johnson writes them on the board.

Today is the last day for Battle of the Books.  The two teams are Mrs. Hoffart's class and Mrs. Sharpe's class.  We played jump rope in P.E.  today.  Today we ate celery with peanut butter.

Alex's birthday is on the 28th.  I am proud of Brandon today because he got a reward for getting really far in Math Ninja.
