The Fun Easter (almost)

Today we picked a new poem.  The poem is We had a Field Trip Yesterday.  Today we picked a new chapter book.  It is called Vampires DO Hunt Marshmallow Bunnies.  It is 77 degrees out today.

The Assembly

We got iPads.  We got to do subtraction or counting money.  In our chapter book, we finished Peril at the Pyramid.  It was good.  Today we had an assembly about lots of animals.  It was very very fun.  In Science we are learning what a food chain is.  We made one of our own.  It was fun.  David did calendar.  Brooklyn did show and tell.  She brought a fake dog.  It was funny.  It sang.

Second Grade Rocks on the Interlude Dance!!!!!

Sharing about the Weekend

People were sharing about their weekends.  We learned the word habitats.  Today is Rachael's birthday.  Lauren brought her pillow, Dalton brought his cars, and Rachael brought her stuffed animal for show and tell.  We are making clay pots in Art.

Pocorn Time!

We are learning about gravity.  Gravity is something that pulls you down.  We are learning about inches, yards, and feet.  Today Dalton made funny things in Calendar.  On our window is popcorn.  It says, "Words that POP!"  Today we got popcorn and cookies.  We got another handful of popcorn.

Today in Science

Today we learned about weight on the planets. We would be different weights because of gravity.  Today we saved words when we were doctors.  We cut up sentences and put commas in them to make them better.  We played a game about measuring.  It was fun doing it.

Wednesday Blog: The Big Art Show

In the morning we had show and tell. Gabe and Kaleigh shared. We saw a picture on the SMARTBoard.  It was a toad.  After that, we did a dance.  There was a big art show.  There was a lot of paintings.
